Communicating with Families
We believe that the best outcomes for children are achieved when educators and families work together in partnership.
We actively communicate with families throughout the day to provide updates on their child’s experiences, eating, sleeping, and toileting routines to provide consistency and harmony between our service and home.
Families receive daily in-person updates from their children’s educators as well as regular daily app updates through our communication app, OWNA.
Daily Routine
The daily routine for our toddlers provides consistency and certainty, helping children understand what to expect throughout the day.
The rhythm of the day includes a balance of indoor and outdoor play, music and wellbeing activities, group times, rest, nutritious meals, and both spontaneous and intentional teaching moments.
Regular toileting, hand washing, and nappy changes take place throughout the day. Families receive daily updates about their child’s learning, eating, sleeping, and toileting via our family communication app OWNA.
